Huahine is French Polynesia’s garden island. It consists of two islands connected by a small bridge and even includes a large freshwater lake. Driving from one end of the island to the other only takes 30 minutes. Feel like a local and stay in a family operated pension (guesthouse).

This guesthouse sits along a major northwest-facing coral beach, where you will admire from the comfort of your deck chair, magnificent sunsets behind the islands of Raiatea, Tahaa and Bora Bora. If you are lucky, you will also be able to see dolphins and whales in season (July-October). The swimming pool makes up for the difficult access to the lagoon in front of the guest house. With a friendly restaurant-bar-pool space facing the sea, a service of car & bike rental, air-conditioned bungalows or double rooms, Pension Fare Maeva suits families, couples or single travellers.
